Scrapbook Expo - Costa Mesa, CA

It was sort of a last minute request, but plans had changed and I was asked to fly to Costa Mesa, CA to help work the P K Glitz booth in Costa Mesa, CA. We had been experiencing record low temperatures here in Texas and when asked if I could fly to sunny southern California for the weekend, well..... it took me at least 2 seconds, maybe 3 to say "Yes!" LOL
When I arrived out there it had been raining the previous day so the weather was a little damp but at least in the high 60's or low 70's - I can live with that! I didn't take my camera with me but I thought I would try and get a few pictures with my cell phone.

Palm Trees can only mean one thing to me - "warm weather"!

I was told that this is Saddleback Mountain. We saw it from the parking lot every day. Mountains are not a common site for me here in central Texas :)

I had a wonderful time at the show and on Sunday - shortly before I had to leave to go back to the airport - I met up with an online friend from Dixie Pieces. Christine came by and she had her camera so this is the only decent picture I have from the whole weekend.

The Quick Quotes booth was right across from us and they needed to take one of their instructors back to the airport at the same time I needed to go so Stacy offered to take me when they went. If you haven't been acquainted with Quick Quotes - you need to be! Their kits are fabulous and the girls are just the sweetest!

Now it is back to reality and I have a lot of projects to start working on with short deadlines. See you in a few days!
